An Introduction Of Sorts

Since I’ve never really blogged before, I figured it couldn’t hurt to start out with a brief introduction. Some people have described my weekly news updates at the Hero Games website every Friday for the past ten years as a blog, but it’s never really seemed that way to me — it was just a way of getting the news out to the fans. Perhaps I can just chalk it up to “practice.”

My intention for this page is to use it for several purposes. The first, of course, is the same as my Hero updates — to get news and information out to those who are interested in me and what I’m doing. (Hopefully that’s a lot of you, and the number will only grow over time!)

The second is to report on (and occasionally ruminate about) my current thoughts and efforts as I work to get my fiction published, decide what new game books to work on via Kickstarter, and the like. To a certain extent I’m feeling my way through new (and potentially treacherous) waters here, and writing things down often helps me to think through them. I’m just taking the additional step of sharing my thoughts with you. Aren’t you lucky?

I’ve got a simple message board set up here on the site, so if something I’ve written grabs your attention, feel free to post a thread about it, or comment in an existing thread (or heck, just comment here, using the link directly below). And you’re always welcome to share my wit and wisdom with the rest of the Internet by posting a link to a blog entry or any other part of this site.
